Hey, guys! I'm back! Ok so this is a review on the book Prodigy by Marie Lu. It's the sequel to Legend, and the second book in the trilogy. So in this book Day, a thought-to-be-dead criminal, and June, the Republic's most wanted traitor, are both on the run, and they turn towards the Patriots for help. Ok, so if you have already read this book, please, read on. If you have not read it yet... QUICK, SHIELD YOUR EYES!!!
Oh. My. Gods. I'm so sorry that I've been so inactive. It feels like years since I last posted anything. I've been on this huge book slump and it was just awful. But thank the gods that I finally got over that. One of the reasons I was able to get rid of the slump was 'cause it's now SUMMER which means NO SCHOOL so I FINALLY have more time to read! And another reason was because of the book Legend by Marie Lu. It's the first book in the trilogy and I thought that it was great. It takes place during the future in the United States, but now the U.S. is separated into two different countries called the Republic and the Colonies. The story focuses on a guy named Day and a girl called June. Day lives on the streets and is the best known criminal in the Republic, while June is a high ranking soldier for the Republic. But after a tragic situation, their world's collide. Alright, if you have read the book, please, read on. If you have not read the book yet... SHIELD YOUR EYES!!!
Hi guys, I know it hasn't been exactly a week but I'm in the middle of the Mara Dyer series right now and I'm waiting for the third book because I had to order it from a different library. Other than that, Butter and I are going to be in a cosplay contest. I have NO IDEA what she's dressing up as but I'm going as Izzy Lightwood from the Mortal Instruments series. I'll definitely tell y'all what happens at the contest, which is tomorrow. Anyways, I decided to do a book tag for this week because the second Mara Dyer book left lots of unanswered questions and I just need to take my mind off of it.
Today I'm doing the Disney book Tag. I wasn't actually tagged by anyone but it sounded fun and I wanted to do it, so if you've got a problem with that, come at me bruh! So let's get started with this tag. So I honestly don't like spending more money than I need to, so most books I read I don't own. Basically, the last time I actually went to a bookstore and bought a book was for House of Hades 😁. Anyways, I went to a local book sale at the library with Gazelle where all the books were $2 or less. I'm probably going to end up getting a lot more books from there because they're so cheap so YAY! The first 5 on my list are just presents for my mother, so I have them with my book haul but I'm probably not actually going to read them. I bought 20(!) for $15(!!!!!!!!!), which is the equivalent of 75¢ per book!!!
Hi guys, remember me? I know, I know it's been SO LONG. I wish I had a cool excuse, but honestly, life just got really busy. I didn't want to write small reviews because I want to focus on the quality of my reviews just as much as the quantity. Here's what I've been reading, because I'm trying to get a clean slate. I've been overwhelmed by the number of books I've read and reviews I have to write so I just want to state what I've read and start with reviews after that. Series I've recently finished (TSC) will have series reviews coming. My Paper Towns review is coming along with my updated Stephanie Perkins series review is coming. I'm really hoping to have 1 review a week worked into my schedule over the summer so that its routine by the fall. I also hope to do some book tags over the summer, and Gazelle and I are hoping to do the Percy Jackson challenge over the summer. Butter and I are hoping to do some cosplay and find some other books. Any weeks that I don't have a book read and ready to review I'll maybe review a movie or do a book tag. I'm super excited to get back to regularly posting, so make sure you keep checking the site.

Goodreads Book of the Month
5 members The reviewers of http://www.onceuponsomefangirls.weebly.com We have monthly books, feel free to ... ButterI TOTALLY DIDN'T JUST MAKE THIS SKETCHY PICTURE OF MYSELF ON POWERPOINT PLEASE NOTE: MY NAME IS NOT BUTTER FOR NO REASON (DEM DOUBLE NEGATIVES DOH). I WILL BE SALTY AND MUSHY AND GROSS AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO USE PROFANITY SO READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. 'Sup people... It's Butter. Please don't think I sound angsty and dead-ish because that's just me after reading until two in the morning. I guess I like reading YA books because they're quite easy to get what's going on and they allow the sluices in my brain to open for all that rush of fangirling. However, I'm kind of being peer pressured into reading classics because "they're better for my reading comprehension" which is a-ok awesome but I'm still a child who dreams of random awesomeness... Not historical fiction. I'm sorry for being "that one kid" and I'm trying to transition, please love meeeee. Also my grammar sucks so please don't judge (Can you tell I'm half dead while writing this?). CaramelHi! I'm Caramel, the mastermind behind all of this. I've been reading forever. Seriously, my family calls me Hermione. My first memorable book that got me on the path of fangirling is the Harry Potter series, that I read in kindergarten. It was the spark for my bonfire of reading. I'll read just about any genre, or anything, truthfully. I'd probably read a bibliography if you gave me that too.
GazelleHey! Gazelle here! I'm the resident PJO fangirl. The first book series I got into was the PJO series, then I read the Harry Potter books. I LOVED them all. I'm also a huge Lunar Chronicles fan. I actually love a lot of books, I don't think I can name them all. To be honest, I'm really not sure what to say next, Caramel just kind of shoved this in front of me and said, "Here, write something about yourself." I don't know what else to say, so if you could just pretend you're reading the most heart-felt thing in the world, laugh, smile, hold this to your heart, and maybe even shed a few tears, then that would be great. Thanks, I owe you one. Bottom line: I like books. A lot.
