Hello everyone!
Sorry I've been kind of inactive recently, I'm just coming off of a cold and going through that extreme busyness of the new year. Anyways, I've been working with Of Tomes publishing and they presented the opportunity to interview Joel Lawrence, the author of Tears of Time. Tears of Time is an upcoming fantasy novel that is about a college freshman who also believes that she may be the reincarnation of a Bronze Age princess. I'll link it's Goodreads page here, but it sounds super interesting and I'm excited to read it soon! On to the interview! So, I've recently become Hamilton TRASH. I RAP ABOUT THE FOUNDING FATHERS AND I HAVE NO SHAME, NO REGRETS.
I remembered that Maureen created this tag a few months ago, so I decided that I'll do it. I may re-do this post in video form just because I love the songs so much, but we'll see. Hi guys,
Today I have a giveaway for a $25 gift card as well as some special excerpts from The Prophecy of Shadows. The giveaway ends on February 4, so make sure to sign up! So, I wasn't tagged for this but...that's not going to stop me!
Hello, Sorry I've been so inactive lately, I've just been busy with a lot of stuff, but mainly school. Everything kind of seemed to pile into one week, where I had a forensics competition, finals, solo and ensemble, HOSA, another forensics competition and my piano exam. So yeah, rough stuff. Anyways, I am back and will hopefully be reading more soon. Today I decided to bring you the totally should've book tag because it looks like a lot of fun and I haven't done a tag in a long time! The tag was created by Emma from emmmabooks so make sure to check out her video. Without further ado, here's the tag! I know, another cover reveal, but this one's really cool.
I'm going to try and even out my feed AFTER finals, I'm just kinda going insane right now. Until then, hang tight, I'll be back in a week(ish). Comment below and let me know how crazy you're going over finals (or if you're lucky enough to have finished them). Hi guys,
I'm going to be kind of MIA this week, but here's a cover reveal. Hi guys,
I'm super excited today because Xpresso Books gave me the opportunity to reveal the cover of one of their newest books, The Beltane Escape, which is a Fantasy YA novel. You can pick it up on February 2nd, all the Goodreads and Pre-Order links are further down, along with the synopsis. So it's almost finals week and I really should be studying but I've been working all day today, so I think I deserve a short break. To do more work. Fair enough?
I'd first like to start off by saying that, this week, we've gotten over 50 different people visit our site! This is incredible, thank you so much for stopping by and reading, I promise to update more, I've just been studying a ton. Please comment, I really want to be able to read comments and talk to some of you guys! Anyways, Shadowhunters has FINALLY come out and I have been so excited to discuss it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to break it down episode by episode, but I have a lot of opinions I don't want to forget, so here we go! Top 5 Books I Must Read in 2015-I Mean-2016 AGHHH I'M NEVER GOING TO STOP MAKING THAT MISTAKE12/31/2015 Hi everyone! Geez, look at me posting 3 times in two day. You’re probably all done with me by now… yeah… sorry. Anyways, I was going to write a list of my favorite books that I’ve read in 2015, but honestly… I can’t really remember. I know, I know, I’m sorry! I haven’t been using Goodreads as much as I should be, so New Year’s Resolution #1: Use Goodreads more often. And also I was in the worst book slump when I started school this year and I feel like I’ve barely read. So I really don’t think that it’s going to be fair if I make a list of books that I don’t really remember and might not have even read. So instead I’m making a list of my Top 5 Must be read books in 2016. Carmel might kill me for this but shhhhhhh. Alright, let’s get started!

Goodreads Book of the Month
5 members The reviewers of http://www.onceuponsomefangirls.weebly.com We have monthly books, feel free to ... ButterI TOTALLY DIDN'T JUST MAKE THIS SKETCHY PICTURE OF MYSELF ON POWERPOINT PLEASE NOTE: MY NAME IS NOT BUTTER FOR NO REASON (DEM DOUBLE NEGATIVES DOH). I WILL BE SALTY AND MUSHY AND GROSS AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO USE PROFANITY SO READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. 'Sup people... It's Butter. Please don't think I sound angsty and dead-ish because that's just me after reading until two in the morning. I guess I like reading YA books because they're quite easy to get what's going on and they allow the sluices in my brain to open for all that rush of fangirling. However, I'm kind of being peer pressured into reading classics because "they're better for my reading comprehension" which is a-ok awesome but I'm still a child who dreams of random awesomeness... Not historical fiction. I'm sorry for being "that one kid" and I'm trying to transition, please love meeeee. Also my grammar sucks so please don't judge (Can you tell I'm half dead while writing this?). CaramelHi! I'm Caramel, the mastermind behind all of this. I've been reading forever. Seriously, my family calls me Hermione. My first memorable book that got me on the path of fangirling is the Harry Potter series, that I read in kindergarten. It was the spark for my bonfire of reading. I'll read just about any genre, or anything, truthfully. I'd probably read a bibliography if you gave me that too.
GazelleHey! Gazelle here! I'm the resident PJO fangirl. The first book series I got into was the PJO series, then I read the Harry Potter books. I LOVED them all. I'm also a huge Lunar Chronicles fan. I actually love a lot of books, I don't think I can name them all. To be honest, I'm really not sure what to say next, Caramel just kind of shoved this in front of me and said, "Here, write something about yourself." I don't know what else to say, so if you could just pretend you're reading the most heart-felt thing in the world, laugh, smile, hold this to your heart, and maybe even shed a few tears, then that would be great. Thanks, I owe you one. Bottom line: I like books. A lot.
