I thought the cover was cool, but I didn't have any strong feelings about it, so yeah.
Harper: I really liked Harper, she's an overachiever but is still really nice. Was it just me, or did she sound really southern in the beginning, but then lost the southern slang by about chapter 2? She was pretty cool, and I was glad that she was able to be smart and pretty, not just one or the other. I guess my feelings for her weren't really that strong, but I really liked her 'ninja powers'.
David: Everyone says that they love David, but I don't know if I do. I guess he's pretty cool, but I tried to understand why she hated him, and related him to someone who's super mean to me, so now I can't like him. I'm sorry David. I truly am.
Bee: Bee was really understanding, but she was kinda annoying in the beginning. She pretty much redeemed herself in my eyes because, even though it was a lie, she didn't spill Harper's 'secret' to anyone. I got really upset when she was taken at the end though, because I think I liked her more than I let on.
Ryan: Is it wrong that I loved Ryan? Because I really did. He never held a grudge to Harper, no matter how many times she blew him off. I was really mad when he kept 'flirting' with Mary Beth-oh EXCUSE ME, I MEAN MB-because that's just rude. Sorry, Ryan, but its true. BUT THAT PLOT TWIST THOUGH!!!! I mean, being a Paladin was basically the reason she broke up with him, AND THEN HE BECOMES THE MAGE!!! WHAT?!?!? I-I-I-I CAN'T EVEN RIGHT NOW. BUH-BYE!!! Okay, I'm back now. I JU-I JUST DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY. So, yeah, good luck with that Ryan.
Skyl-SAYLOR, I MEANT SAYLOR: Saylor was pretty cool, but she was kinda, okay REALLY, stressed on Cotillion. Like, WHO NEEDS TO PRACTICE WALKING DOWN THE STAIRS?!?!?!?!?!?! *walks away and looks at pictures of Jace to calm herself* I was pretty sad when she died.
Final Thoughts: This book was really funny, and great. I know I read it in an attempt to procrastinate Clockwork Angel (I WANT JACE! JACE! WILL IS COOL, BUT I NEED JACE!) but I thoroughly enjoyed it. 94% on my scale, but definitely 5 stars on Goodreads.
